Pre-Doctoral Division Clinical Facilities

The senior cubicles were modernized and received state of the art upgrades in 1999. Adec was chosen to provide chairs, wall mounted lights, and delivery system. The operatories also include 2 ethernet ports for access to the clinic information system from the desk or the unit.

The appointment areas were renovated during the summer of 2003 on the second floor clinic to accomodate the General Practice Groups 5-8. There are common areas for student-faculty-staff use and office areas to accomodate the PCC and Scheduler assigned to each group.

A new electronic health record system began to be implemented in 2008. It currently includes patient scheduling and billing function. The electronic patient notes and charting will be implemented in 2009. The students interact with axiUm via laptop computers in their clinical operatories.
